Volare Wellbeing is a preventative mental fitness consultancy working with schools, young people and families to build stronger foundations for mental health and wellbeing.
"Mental fitness should be part of everyday life, not something introduced when challenges escalate."
At Volare, we work with schools, young people, and families to shift wellbeing from reactive support to proactive practice, strengthening the health of the mind through earlier understanding, recognition, and support.
Mental fitness woven into everyday life creates the conditions for young people, and the people around them, to thrive through more consistent and sustainable approaches to wellbeing.
We define mental fitness as the capacity to maintain and strengthen the health of the mind. Like physical fitness, it is not something we either have or do not have. It can be developed over time through consistent practice, reflection, and support.
Young people are better able to recognise and communicate their needs, helping schools and families identify emerging concerns earlier and provide support before challenges escalate.
Young people develop greater self-awareness and emotional regulation, supporting stronger relationships, improved decision-making, and more effective responses to challenge.
The adults supporting young people, whether staff or parents, develop a clearer understanding of emotional need and greater confidence in how to respond consistently and effectively.
Our work is grounded in the realities of school life and the lives of young people and families, combining preventative approaches with practical strategies that strengthen mental fitness through everyday understanding, practice, and support.
Building mental fitness early, helping people recognise and respond to challenges before they escalate.
Working alongside schools, families, and young people to create approaches that reflect their context, strengths, and needs.
Grounded in coaching psychology and positive psychology, combined with extensive experience across education, safeguarding, and youth development.
Focused on approaches that can be understood, implemented, and used in everyday life.
Creating shared language, understanding, and consistency between the people supporting young people.
Building confidence, capability, and approaches that can be sustained over time.
We work across the ecosystem around young people: schools, families, and the wider organisations and services supporting them. The aim is the same wherever we work: creating the conditions for young people to be understood earlier, supported more effectively, and better equipped to thrive.
Partnering with schools, trusts, and education leaders to build the shared understanding, confidence, and consistency needed to support young people effectively across the whole setting.
Working with parents and carers to deepen their understanding of the young people they support, build confidence in how they respond, and create greater alignment between home and school.
Working with young people directly, one-to-one, to build self-awareness, confidence, and psychological strength, whether they are navigating difficulty or simply want to understand themselves better and grow.
Working with youth organisations and services to strengthen the support they provide for young people, building the shared understanding, consistency, and capability needed to deliver meaningful and lasting impact.
Creating clarity before action through diagnostic insight, strategic conversations, and evidence-informed guidance to identify where support will have the greatest impact.
